    CITB is an awarding body dedicated to ensuring that the British construction workforce has the right skills for now and the future based on our three strategic priorities Careers, Standards and Qualifications, and Training and Development. They are the Industry Training Board and a partner in the Sector Skills Council for the construction industry in England, Scotland and Wales.

    CABWI Awarding Body, established in 1991, is one of the leading awarding organisations for the Street Works and Street Works Reassessment schemes in excavation and reinstatement in the highway, and an Ofqual regulated awarding organisation, offering vocational qualifications for those working in the water and wider utilities industries, and related occupations. In 2016, CABWI launched its Third Party Endorsement program, which is designed to recognise high-quality in-house training programs.

    CSCS Cards provide proof that individuals working on construction sites have the appropriate training and qualifications for the job they do on-site. By ensuring the workforce are appropriately qualified the card plays its part in improving standards and safety on UK construction sites. Holding a CSCS card is not a legislative requirement. It is entirely up to the principal contractor or client whether workers are required to hold a card before they are allowed on site. However, most principal contractors and major house builders require construction workers on their sites to hold a valid card.

    The City and Guilds of London Institute is a UK based educational organisation and awarding body that was founded in London in 1878 to develop a national system of technical education, the Institute has been operating under Royal Charter (RC117), granted by Queen Victoria, since 1900.
